How to Read a Football Prediction Before Kick-off

Football predictions are easiest to understand when you read the full selection, not only the headline. This guide explains the basic checks to make before a match starts.
Start with the fixture
Check the home team, away team, competition and scheduled kick-off time. Fixtures can move or be postponed, so a prediction should always be read together with the match details shown beside it.
Read the market, not just the category
A category tells you the general kind of analysis. The market tells you the actual selection. For example, BTTS means both teams score at least once, while HT/FT refers to the result at half-time and at full-time. A correct-score selection refers to the final score.
Keep timing in mind
Odds and team information can change before kick-off. Treat published information as a snapshot in time and review the fixture and market again before making your own decision.
